Blackrock is one of Southwestern Ontario's hottest new and versatile bands featuring the sultry sounds of lead vocalist Barbara Axford, including the seasoned talents of the band's lead guitarist (and vocals) Bruce Hansen, the dynamic versatility of Dan Corcoran on keyboards and harmonica, all supported by the pulsating sounds of Kevin Denomme on bass and the drive and energy of Peter Filion on drums and percussion.

Blackrock is not simply a 5 piece band that brings to the stage the hard driving sounds of rock and soul from the past and present, but also blends these genres with the high energy of today's soul, the moodiness of the blues and the sophistication of jazz ….
